Integration with Periscope

Linking Locations and Properties

Once the EnergyStar driver has been installed and properties have been mapped, Periscope can begin pulling in EnergyStar data.  The first step is to link each EnergyStar Property with a Periscope Location.  This allows a score to be directly associated with a location.  To do this, click on any Periscope Location in PeriscopeConfig.  There is a new configurable dropdown that contains a list of EnergyStar properties.  This needs to be setup for each location that should be tied to a property

The "Energy Star Property" dropdown is only visible once you have installed the EnergyStar Driver and mapped one or more properties into the station.

EnergyStar Score

The EnergyStar Score can be pulled in as a regular Numeric Point and used in any live point viewlet.  Each EnergyStarDevice (representing a property) has a "Score" value under the points folder.  Here's an example Circular Gauge configured to show a building's EnergyStar score with the EnergyStar logo.

Periscope does not come bundled with any EnergyStar logos

Ranking EnergyStar Scores

The Ranking Viewlet can be configured to rank all EnergyStar properties that have a valid score.  This feature is only available once the EnergyStar driver has been installed and setup with at least one property.  This feature can be enabled in the Ranking Viewlet configuration and will automatically select and rank all of the EnergyStar properties.
