Device Discovery

In order to initiate a device discovery on the AutomateArcNetwork, do the following:

1.) From the NavTree, double click the AutomateArcNetwork.

2.) In the Device Manager View, at the bottom of the screen click on the "Discover" button. 

3.) Devices that reply to query will be displayed in the "Discovered" window pane. These devices will be the Automate Arc Pulse Hubs.

From this pane, you can select the individual hubs and click the "Add"  button.

4.) From the "Add" window pane, you can assign a customized name for the hub.

Once you are satisfied with the fields, click the "OK"  button. 

5.) Once the hub has been added to the device database, double click on the hub to go into the individual hub's Device Manager view.

6.) Once again, click the "Discover" button. This will then return devices that are associated with the individual hub. 

Select the individual devices and click the "Add"  button.

7.) From the "Add" window pane, you can assign a customized name for each motor. 

Once you are satisfied with the fields, click the "OK"  button. 

8.) Your device should now show up in the device database where you can access actions / points on the device.
