Installation
nProtex is packaged as a single JAR file for both Niagara AX and Niagara4.
Install JAR
The first step is to install the nProtex JAR file. There are separate JARs for Niagara AX and Niagara4 with file names as follows:
- Niagara AX: nProtex.jar
- Niagara 4: nProtex-rt.jar
These JARs must be installed on both the WebSupervisor and JACE stations that will be utilizing nProtex.
Install nProtex Service
The next step is to install the nProtex Service on each Station. To install:
- Open your Station and navigate to the Services container
- Open the nProtex palette
- Drag the nProtex Service from the palette to Services
When installing on the server the flag for server underneath the service will need to be set to true to indicate that it should be accessible at /nprotex and so that it is understood that this is the top of the tree when iterating through other connected JACEs
License
See Licensing for more information.
Access
NProtex is available from the host running the service with the server flag from the endpoint http://{the_host}/nprotex

- Expand each remote Station and double ciick "Histories"
- Click "Discover" to load all available remote histories
- Locate the "AuditHistory" which is under a folder that matches the remote station name
