As part of a Kiosk setup, it could be desire-able to have the machine which is hosting the browser automatically log in. This could be useful in the event of a power failure in which the device has been set to turn on once primary power has been restored. When used in conjunction with Auto Selecting A Certificate For Client Certificate Authentication and Launching Firefox On Startup, this would allow for the Kiosk to return to normal operation without any user intervention.
