User Settings
The general settings tab, indicated by the cog on the left side menu, is the general settings page. 
Hierarchy
Hierarchies are navigation trees created in Niagara or SkySpark based on existing relations or references created. Periscope automatically creates three structures using different combinations of the typical Site > Equipment > Point hierarchy setups. Custom hierarchies can be created if the supporting tags exist and corresponding settings are configured in Niagara's Hierarchy Service (or SkySpark's NavTrees).

This setting adjusts how quickly any animated object transition in the dashboard.
Read Only
This setting turns sets the logged in user's privileges to read only. When Read Only is true, users cannot edit and configure views and viewlets.
Fix Viewlet Position
When Fix Viewlet Position is true, users are prevented from repositioning viewlets inside a dashboard.
Auto Compact
When Auto Compact is true, viewlets within a dashboard will automatically reposition when an associated viewlet is moved or resized.
Show Settings
This option toggles the settings icon in the top right corner of the dashboard so the logged in user will not be able to access the settings page.

This option allows the user to suppress all error popups from the dashboard user interface.
Tile Server Url
Specify the location of the tile server if available for offline use.
