1.) Once you have the automateArc module installed into your Workbench, open the automateArc Palette.
2.) Select the "AutomateArcNetwork" and drag the network into the Nav pane under your Station → Drivers.
3.) Right click on the "AutomateArcNetwork" and select Views → AX Property Sheet.
4.) From the AX Property Sheet, expand the Serial Config and set the following parameters:
- Port Name: COMx (Where x is your COM port that will be used for the AutomateArcNetwork)
- Baud Rate: Baud9600
- Data Bits: Data Bits8
- Stop Bits: Stop Bit1
- Parity: None
- Flow Control: All items unchecked
